Cape Town to Cape Town in 5 daysThis tour covers the best that the Garden Route has to offer, like Tsistikamma and Wilderness. Starting point is Cape Town, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Day 1: Cape Town to Game LodgeWe depart from Cape Town and drive along the N2 to Cape Agulhas. Visit the Southern most tip of Africa and the Cape Agulhas lighthouse before we head on to Albertinia and the Garden Route Game Lodge. Enjoy a ‘Big 5’ sunset game drive, a tasty dinner as well as a hot spring under the stars. Tonight you can either stay at this magnificent Game Lodge or on a private guest farm outside Albertinia (D)
Day 2: Game Lodge to OudtshoornWe go on an early morning Game drive to spot some more animals. This is followed by a scrumptious breakfast! We head for Oudtshoorn via the spectacular Robinson Pass. Spend the afternoon at the Cango Caves and ride ostriches at the Cango Ostrich Farm before retiring to Backpackers Paradies. (B, D)
Whale at De Hoop
Day 3: Oudtshoorn to Storms River VillageWe take the stunning Outiniqua pass down to the coast. Once in Wilderness we will do some canoeing on the Wilderness lagoon. Try spot some 200 different species of birds on the lagoon while paddling through the Wilderness National Park. Visit the World’s highest Bungy at Bloukrantz (plenty of time to jump for those thrill seekers) as well as walk over the hanging bridge over Storms River Mouth in the Tsitsikamma National Park. We stay overnight at the Tsitsikamma Backpackers in Stormsriver Village. (B)
Knysna Forest
Day 4: Storms River Village to SwellendamToday we have the option of an ocean adventure. We try and spot dolphins and whales (in season) from a boat in Plettenberg Bay. After the boat cruise we head to Knysna for lunch and to explore the Knysna heads. On route to Swellendam we visit an aloe factory in Albertinia before arriving at the Buffeljagts Dam where we will stay at Somerset gift guesthouse farm. There is also the option of going on the longest foefie-slide in Africa!

Day 5: Swellendam to Cape TownWe depart Swellendam and follow the coastal route towards Hermanus. There is time for an optional Shark Cage Dive. We explore Hermanus where we go whale watching (in season) and visit a winery for some wine tasting.
From Hermanus we go on to Betty’s Bay where we visit the penguins at Stony Point. We will return to Cape Town in the late afternoon via the stunning False Bay coastline where we might see more whales or dolphins. (B)
